At Gold Street Music School, we have modified our style of teaching to include offering lessons at the student’s house. With our home-centered classes we will be able to come to your home at a scheduled time which will make leaning more convenient for you. Our clients include young children and adults who desire to study from a more familiar environment. We also work with families and other groups who would want to take their classes together in their premises. GOLD STREET HOUSE OF MUSIC CODE OF CONDUCT
Gold Street House of Music we make every effort to integrate high ethical standards in our day to day activities and of which we expect our staff and learners to adhere to. This Code of Conduct is meant to assist you to meet creative, artistic and personal goals and includes observing our guidelines summarized below.
- Take care of property that is assigned to you or is located within the premises.
- Attend lessons on time, follow course work as instructed and hand in assignments on time.
- Unless it is part of the class session, avoid browsing/chatting on computer/ mobile phones.
- Lies, abusive or discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Use of food and drinks near computers, controllers, pianos and other equipment is not allowed.
- Drug abuse, intoxication and disorderly association is also prohibited
- Keep work spaces tidy
- Goldstreet school of music may record, photograph or document the class sessions and such may be shared with the student and/or posted in our publications.
- Visitors are not allowed in the class/ studio unless otherwise authorized.
- You must inform the school in advance when you are unable to attend a lesson.
- The following sanctions may be imposed to resolve any violations of this Code of Conduct:
- Suspension from sessions
- Compensation for damage, loss or injury
- Loss of Privileges
- Withholding of completion award (where necessary)
COVID 19
In order to create a safe environment for everyone at Gold Street Music School the following shall be observed:
- Wear a mask/ face shield.
- Wash your hands with a hand-sanitizer whenever you enter and exit.
- Keep a distance of at least 1 meter from the next person.
- Equipment surfaces shall be disinfected before and after use.
- One machine/ instrument is dedicated to single person use per session.
- The number of persons in a room per session shall be limited.
- Carry a mini hand sanitizer for your extra care
- If you have a constant cough, cold or flu please seek treatment before attending any classes.
